Omega Cabinetry's New Fall Products Offer Upscale Cabinet Features

JASPER, Ind. (September 24, 2012) — As the seasons transition from summer to fall, attention turns to spending more time inside, especially in the kitchen, as family gatherings are planned and meals cooked together. At this time of year, many homeowners will also take the opportunity to update the look of their kitchens with new cabinetry.  For these homeowners, Omega introduces a distinctive new line of products for fall 2012.

“Our new line of cabinetry puts homeowners’ dreams within reach, combining design flexibility with fashionable products in an innovative way,” said Matthew Vogler, premium brand manager.

Design Flexibility

The new Omega offerings are designed to add flexibility in fashion and finish options for personal styles ranging from the Classic Traditional to Modern Transitional.

To make kitchen planning easier and to take advantage of vertical spaces, Omega has expanded the tall kitchen elements to include 102” inch and 108” inch heights on all utility cabinets, tall end shelves, oven cabinets, microwave cabinets and bookcases, as well as end panels and fillers. The company also offers utility cabinets designed for the top portion of the cabinet to align properly with adjoining wall cabinetry, called the Transom line.

Omega has extended its color and glaze choices on Quartersawn Oak, creating more than 50 additional color combinations. Also, a wide variety of door styles is now available in the Amaretto and Cognac finishes, giving the homeowner many more succinct choices.

The Lazy Susan Cabinet is getting an update with the addition of new asymmetrical sizes. Asymmetrical Lazy Susans provide just the right fit by changing the leg dimensions appropriately for the space, utilizing that space more fully for even better storage than ever before.

Fashionable Products

Homeowners have many options when it comes to new door styles, finishes, and custom cabinetry elements. Omega’s versatile door styles are the perfect balance of sophistication and fashion. The elegant new mitered door named Pezzo is no exception. The soft, pillowed stiles and rails make a bold statement at 3” inches wide.

For a design full of warmth, consumers search no further than Omega’s comforting new Rustic Cherry.  Charming natural attributes of a rustic wood include beautiful mineral streaks and pin knots that will not affect the structural integrity of the cabinetry, but instead create a very appealing look.

New brushed finishes are being introduced into the product line. This unique technique consists of a base color that is touched with a directional brush stroke applied by hand. The available tones are Brushed Sepia and Brushed Ebony. The combination of the base color with either of these brushed finishes creates attractive appearances that vary from aged or weathered to a more modern, contemporary feel.

Exclusive to Omega’s custom line, nine new styles in 1” inch thick doors and face frames are being offered for both beaded and non-beaded inset cabinetry. The discerning homeowner will appreciate the clean lines, upscale opulence, and fine furniture appearance of custom inset cabinets.

Always on the cutting edge by combining beautiful design with exciting innovation, Omega introduces a new application called Total Light for use in display cabinets with glass shelving. In Total Light, the bottom of the cabinet is upgraded to a frosted plexi-glass and the bottom frame includes an aluminum light rail holding two LED light strips. One light strip is angled to illuminate the interior of the cabinet while the other light strip is used for under-cabinet lighting. The dual function of the cabinet bottom turns a lovely display cabinet into one that is strikingly distinctive.
