Smooth and Uniform
With their smooth, even and fine wood grain, maple cabinets offer multiple design possibilities throughout the home. Maple cabinets are popular in the kitchen and bathroom, and also work beautifully with a variety of finishes, glazes, stains or paints.
Maple is a strong, resilient hardwood that typically features uniform graining as compared other wood types. The subtle wood grain markings of maple cabinets include fine brown lines, wavy or curly graining, and small, black, birds’-eye dots.
Maple cabinets are predominately white to creamy-white in color, with occasional reddish-brown tones within a cabinet door panel. The wood also contains light use of yellow-brown and pink. Other natural characteristics of maple cabinets include mineral streaks that are light tan or reddish-tinged and will darken with stain, serving to enhance their natural beauty.
