Supporting the Community
At MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc., we believe giving back to the communities in which we operates is a core responsibility. We gladly support many local (as well as national) organizations through financial and non-financial means. Some of the many ways we support our communities include providing funds to purchase land for Habitat for Humanity, support of local Relay for Life teams, our “Denim Fridays” program (all employees who wear jeans donate $1 to the charity of the week), Katrina Relief Fund, and many more. In addition, by supporting various youth programs such as athletics, scouting, and academic venture (Junior Achievement, etc.) we provide our youth with meaningful activities that develop character and future leadership. We believe there is no better feeling than committing to help others.
MBCI is proud to achieve the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) certification.
Administered by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer’s Association (KCMA) and aligned with the National Association of Home Builders’ Green Home Building Guidelines, this voluntary new program recognizes companies that employ the use of environmentally responsible materials in cabinet products. The program also rewards companies that seek to minimize the environmental impact on their local communities by recycling wastes and using low emission coatings.
